This year Palm Sunday is April 4, then Holy Week, and Easter Day on April 11.Children & CommunionA Holy Communion class is planned for Saturday morning, April 10, 9 am - 12 pm. Children in 2nd grade and younger are welcome to attend. The children may participate in Communion during the Easter Vigil that evening, April 10, or during the Easter Day services on Sunday, April 11.Palms on Palm SundayOn Palm Sunday we honor Jesus as King and look ahead to his passion.Holy Week TogetherMAUNDY THURSDAY, Apr. 87 pm Holy Eucharist and washing of feet.GOOD FRIDAY, Apr. 912 pm Stations of the Cross1 & 2 pm Meditations; you may come for as much of the meditations as you're able. 3 pm Good Friday liturgy HOLY SATURDAY, Apr. 109 am - 12 pm Communion class for kindergarteners through second graders.10 am all-parish Easter egg dyeing & decorating. + Sunday NotesYoung Voices in the ServiceOur children are welcome in the church services. It helps if everyone is well fed and not rushed. Pick up a Bible readings coloring sheet clipboard in the foyer. A few minutes mid-service in the foyer, garden, or hall can be helpful for a fussy youngster, but try to return.All baptized Christians may receive Communion. A blessing is available for your children if they and you prefer. Our NurseryChildren under five are welcome in our nursery on Sundays during the 10 am service; at the end of communion, please bring your child into the service for the last few minutes. The nursery is on the main floor at the drinking fountains.Children's ChapelChildren's chapel is held during the 9 am service, 9:00 - 9:30 am, for three-year-olds through second graders. It's held in the chapel down the hall from the nursery. During this worship experience they learn our familiar responses & order of service, take part in an offering with their own coins or prayers, and more. The children process into the church to join their families for Communion.The children need adult volunteers to be with them during their chapel time; contact Pam to take part for one or several Sundays. + Volunteers NeededChildren's chapel.
