ADVENT FESTIVAL OF LESSONS & CAROLS
Sunday, December 21, 10:30am
Advent Lessons and Carols service is a pre-Christmas worship service that weaves together scripture readings with choir anthems, and hymns to tell the story of God's plan for salvation, from creation to the birth of Jesus. This popular service, which originated at King's College, Cambridge, in 1918, is held during the four-week Advent season to prepare for Christmas. This year, Advent Lessons and Carols will conclude with the St. John’s Christmas Pageant as well as a reception for all afterwards in the Parish Hall.
Don’t miss this dual celebration event!
